It will be our pleasure to host you, your friends, and family. We will leverage the Mesquite Convention Center at 1750 Rodeo Dr, Mesquite, TX 75149.
We will strive to unite the Tigrayan diaspora by promoting the growth of Tigray Communities across North America. We have to prepare for our people and loved ones.

What is Wa’Ela Tigray?
An annual conference founded by Tigray Communities Forum NA Inc. (TCFNA) that raises funds to aid in purchasing a community center in a different member Tigray community each year
■ 80% of the conference proceeds go to the hosting member community
● Dallas, TX has been selected to host Wa’Ela Tigray 2023. Tigrians MutualAssistance Association (TMAA) is the Dallas member community
■ 20% of the proceeds go to TCFNA to use towards community initiatives, programming and scholarships
WHY do we raise funds to build community center
We believe community centers can be a home for sustaining Tigray communities throughout North America where we can focus on education, economic development, and our cultural identity in harmony

Community Meetings/Events
Summer programs (Coding, Language, etc.)
Networking
Job and career training
